You Tube today announced changes to its You Tube Data API, causing many older apps on various devices to stop functioning.On the second-generation Apple TV or older, the You Tube channel will no longer be accessible, and on the i Phone, i Pad, and i Pod touch, i OS 7 or later is required for the You Tube app to function.Second-generation Apple TV users will have no way to watch You Tube videos on their devices after today, but i OS device owners with versions of i OS older than i OS 7 can use mobile You Tube in Safari to watch videos.
